GMS Fall/Winter 2025 Highlights

Winter and the holidays are quickly approaching, and so are many exciting events for Glebe Montessori!

On November 4^th, Veteran Colonel Acton Kilby will speak to our elementary students about his service in the Canadian Military.

On November 18, we will host our semi-annual Open House and welcome potential new families.

GMS families and staff will be raising funds for the Holiday Hamper program. These funds will be used to provide grocery gift cards, winter wear, small gifts, etc., to local families. Senior elementary students will volunteer at the Glebe St. James’ Christmas Bazaar.

November will see Senior Elementary students spending a day exploring the Canadian War Museum and learning about the roles women have had in the military. Also in November, The Zoo Crew will teach Casa and Junior Elementary students how to respect and care for a variety of different animals.

In December, Toddlers, their parents and teachers will come together for “The Toddler Breakfast” and enjoy some Holiday goodies!

Before GMS breaks for the holidays, we will host our Annual Winter Concerts. Casa students will perform a variety of songs and dances for their families and friends. Elementary students will showcase Disney’s “The Lion King, Jr.”  What a great way to wrap up 2025 and welcome a new year!
