GMS Fall 2025 Highlights

Staff would like to welcome all new and returning students to GMS. We hope that all students and their families had a fun and safe summer and are ready for an exciting 2025-2026 school year!

Many exciting things will be taking place this term. GMS will host its annual welcome back BBQ with Chef Scott, as well as the Annual Curriculum Night.

Casa and Elementary students will visit the Agriculture Museum. Casa students will explore their seasonal favourite, the pumpkin, through storytelling and art. Junior Elementary students will discover farm animals and learn about their lifecycles. Senior Elementary students will learn about animal husbandry, and where food comes from. Students will also explore the inner workings of a hive by learning the lifecycle of bees.

Students will participate in the Terry Fox Run and Truth and Reconciliation Day with special activities. During the month of October, Casa students will tear up the dance floor in dance workshops with GMS’ new dance instructor. Junior and Senior Elementary students will explore different styles of drumming around the world, from Africa to Nepal, in a workshop that will be hosted by The Rhythm Room.
