Adopt-a-Village Update

GMS has been actively involved in Free the Children's Adopt-a-Village campaign, raising money to build and furnish a school in the Maasai region in Kenya. Children, parents, teachers and the community worked together participating in various fundraising activities.

Over the coming years, we are expanding our fundraising efforts to help the local population of the Kenyan village where the school is located by raising money to provide clean drinking water and sanitation systems.

Each GMS class also financially "sponsors" a child through the Foster Parents Plan. All classes communicate with their sponsored child and family, learning more about different cultures and assisting others.
